Portupine

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 July 2026

This is a working draft written to describe what Portupine and this website actually do. It has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel — treat it as accurate but not final.

Scope

This policy covers only the Portupine marketing website at portupine.com. It does not cover the Portupine software itself: Portupine is deployed on your own infrastructure, so data your organization puts into it stays under your own privacy policy and your own control — it never reaches us.

Who we are

Portupine is a small team. For any question about this policy, write to privacy@portupine.com.

What we collect

Form submissions. If you submit the quote request or “register interest” form, we collect what you type: name, work email, company, company size, what you’re replacing, and your message. That data is sent to the form handler we’ve configured for this site.

Hosting logs. Our hosting provider automatically logs standard request metadata (IP address, browser user agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention, the way any web server does.

What we don’t collect. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and makes no third-party tracking requests. Fonts are self-hosted; nothing loads from a third-party CDN at runtime.

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote or demo, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Form submissions go to the form-processing endpoint we’ve configured for this site — no other third party receives your data. Our hosting provider processes traffic to serve the site itself.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry data for as long as it’s useful to the business relationship — generally until you tell us to delete it, or it goes stale.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to privacy@portupine.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
